In the lead up to London Fashion Week, The Savoy becomes an official hotel member of the historic Victoria and Albert Museum, and announces a series of fashion experiences that celebrate the museum’s forthcoming fashion-focused exhibitions. Guests will be welcomed for a one night stay at The Savoy, coupled with exclusive passes to attend one of the following exhibitions: Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams; Mary Quant, or Tim Walker. Those seeking an entirely exclusive experience will have the opportunity to book a private tour with one of the museum’s curators*.

Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams opens 2 February to 14 July 2019. The exhibition spans from 1947 to present day, displaying the history and contribution of one of the world’s most influential fashion designers. Holding the same name as the exhibition at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris last year, the launch at the V&A is expected to be the largest showcase of the French designer ever staged in the UK. Christian Dior made his British debut at The Savoy in 1950 where he hosted his first runway show in The Lancaster Ballroom.

The Savoy Fashion Experiences include a one night stay for two with Savoy breakfast, and tickets to one of the following exhibitions at the Victoria and Albert Museum:
  • Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams 2 February to 14 July 2019
  • Mary Quant 6 April to 16 February 2019
